Oakley’s Dinner July 15, 2010 6:30 p.m.

The owners of Bravo! Restaurant are pleased to offer a one night recreation of their first restaurant, Oakley's. Opened July 1982 in the Haymarket Building in downtown Kalamazoo, Oakley's quickly became one of the region's most popular fine dining establishments. Known for their creative approach in presenting regional products prepared in both classic and nouvelle French styles, the Chefs of Oakley's attracted high regard from Oakley's dining room food critics and loyal customers. Oakley's, as with Bravo! today, provided the freshest of foods by making its own breads, soups, sauces, and pastries. Sadly, the dramatic decline in downtown business activity forced us to close on January 1, 1990 . We then focused our energies toward Bravo! which we had opened in 1987.

We are proud to present this special evening which will feature selected items reflecting Oakley's unique style and approach. For those who remember and loved our former restaurant and for those who never dined at Oakley's, we invite everyone to come and join us for a taste of our nostalgic past.
